Kate and Brendan wanted to modernise the front street appeal of their cottage style home and create a more family friendly space with a large deck and lawn area. Visitors have a formal entry which leads them to the large new front door.

With their kids getting older they wanted an area to enjoy for themselves that was separate to the main house but still connected and easily accessible.  The parents retreat consists of a large bedroom, walk through robe and large ensuite and separate powder room. This is all connected to the main house by a weatherproof walkway.

Limited access to the backyard meant that we had to remove some of the back fence and come in through a commercial carpark with machinery and materials
