Nankeen

The owner wanted to build a large modern duplex pair that he could rent out as an long term investment. 

This was a challenging project as there was only very narrow access down each side of the building. The building design also called for lots of different steps in and out along the walls down the side of the building to ensure that it didn’t look like a large 3 storey box. We had to have the ground floor high enough to be above the specified flood level but also ensure that the roof line did not exceed the overall council height restriction and ensure that each level within the duplex complied with the minimum 2.4m ceiling height

Key Works Completed

• Knock down rebuild
• Brand new 3 storey duplex
• Each duplex had 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, private courtyard and double garage
• The owner was a builder so we built the project to lock up stage and then he had his trades gyprock and fit it off.
