Lisa and Rob wanted to create another room upstairs that could be used as another bedroom for when family visited. The reason to move the kitchen out over the existing carport was to take advantage of the beautiful wide water views over the main river at the end of their street. Changing the stairs created a more grand entry area into the house and widened what was originally a narrow staircase.

The covered outdoor BBQ area created the perfect area for Rob to enjoy cooking for the family.

The new gatehouse create both a practical entry for guests and also an element of style to compliment the overall design of the house.

• Extend over the existing carport to create a new kitchen space
